1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the HeroPass website, digital pass, or mobile services (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all terms, do not access or use the Platform.

2Eligible Frontline Membership

HeroPass membership is restricted exclusively to individuals who are actively serving or retired members of recognized frontline and public service professions in India, including:

• Registered Medical Physicians and Surgeons (MBBS, MD, MS, BDS, AYUSH).
• Registered Nurses, Midwives, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
• State and Central Police Force personnel and Traffic Enforcement officers.
• Indian Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard) active and veteran personnel.
• State Fire and Emergency Rescue personnel.
• Other eligible frontline public emergency responders as approved by HeroPass administration.

Membership is granted subject to manual or automated verification of legitimate employment or professional credentials. HeroPass reserves the absolute right to approve, reject, or request further clarification for any membership application.

3Personal & Non-Transferable Use

Your Digital HeroPass is strictly personal to you. You agree that:

• You will not loan, share, screenshot, sell, or transfer your digital pass, QR token, or account credentials to any friend, family member, or third party.
• Participating partner merchants and their cashiers have the right to request proof of matching identity (such as a photo ID or payment card name) at the time of discount redemption.
• Any attempt to distribute single-use online promo codes or bypass verification will result in immediate and permanent account termination.

4In-Store Redemption & Dynamic QR Security

In-store discounts are redeemable by presenting the live dynamic QR pass on a mobile device to the merchant cashier at checkout:

• Each QR pass contains a time-limited, cryptographic HMAC signature that refreshes every 60 to 90 seconds. Static screenshots, photocopies, or printed QR codes are strictly invalid and will be rejected by store scanners.
• The merchant cashier verifies the live pass by scanning it using their camera or merchant terminal.
• Discounts are applied exclusively to the eligible bill total and cannot be exchanged for cash, credits, or gift cards.

5Merchant Partnerships & Fulfillment Disclaimer

HeroPass acts as an intermediary communication platform connecting verified frontline professionals with commercial merchants.

• Participating merchants independently establish the terms, discount percentages, operating hours, and validity of their respective offers.
• The participating merchant is solely responsible for the quality, safety, pricing, and fulfillment of all goods, food, beverage, or services provided. HeroPass accepts no liability for merchant operational deficiencies.
• Merchants reserve the right to temporarily pause or modify perks in accordance with capacity constraints or public health regulations.

6Account Termination & Misuse

HeroPass reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate any member or merchant account that violates these Terms, submits fraudulent or falsified verification documents, abuses store staff, or attempts to circumvent platform security controls.

7Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform shall be instituted exclusively in the competent courts situated in Ernakulam / Kochi, Kerala, India.
